In a large bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, onion powder, paprika, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce until evenly mixed. Form into burger patties.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter. Add mushrooms, onion, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce. Sauté until mushrooms are tender and onions are caramelized to your desired texture.
Grill burger patties over medium-high heat until cooked to desired doneness. During the final minute of cooking, top with Swiss cheese and allow it to melt.
Toast brioche buns if desired and spread garlic aioli onto the buns.
Assemble burgers with the cheeseburger patties and top generously with the mushroom mixture. Serve warm.
